Editing

For our editing process, we have already made a large amount of progress since the beginning of our journey. Editing is very important to incorporate in our music video since we can’t produce any music without adding a score. Eliminating the editing of our project would also force us to show each scene individually instead of all put together. This would make our product less visually appealing and this is the opposite of what we want for the audience. We decided to use the software iMovie for our music video since it works efficiently and quickly. I have experience using this software in the past and I have had no problems creating the products of my choice. Since we are done filming for the music video we are currently working on revising these shots to our best ability. To begin this process we first had to dump all of our footage onto a computer. We learned how to do this during the beginning of the year, so this time around went smoother and in less time. We are still editing at the moment and will utilize our time wisely just like we did for the filming process.

The next step after importing all of our footage into the software is adding finishing touches to our project. Now is the time to decide whether we want to add text or where to start the added sound. Since the song we chose is “I Gotta Feeling” we will be required to add this over our scenes as our score. We also need to crop the videos to the length we think as best. This is important since we have a time limit for our project and we plan to follow it. Cropping the music is also useful to match the scenes and to ensure that we include the right part of the song. There are many other techniques that we can use to touch up our music video on iMovie and we still are making progress. More specifically, today we will work on integrating the score into our footage and see how it turns out. Based off of what we think we will add additional touches. We will include the music by screen recording the song from youtube and importing the audio only of the video.

We will use my laptop to complete the editing process of our film. If this does not go according to plan, we will utilize my phone since I have the iMovie app already on the device. We filmed our footage on our cell phones so editing on them would be rather easy. We do not have much left to complete so we can take our time creating a better final product. I have made many movies in the past on the software so there should be no trouble in finished up the editing process. Finishing the editing process will show us how much we need to improve our project. Not only did we film all of our scenes, we now also added them all together and put them as one. Now we will add the music by the Black Eyed Peas based off of our footage. After this we will be done with the full project. We will utilize the rest of the time to finish up what we have left for the editing process of our music video.

Filming

We have successfully completed the filming process for our music video. We took a series of scenes that relate to our song “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas. Our music video was required to be a total of 1 minute and 15 seconds. We followed this out by our storyboard and filmed 10 different shots in total for our project. Since our product contained shots multiple times this made filming easier because we did not have to move around as much as far as location goes. Our music video is upbeat and carries this mood throughout the project. The filming process took about a week to conduct and we reviewed all of our footage after the matter. We made sure to include a variety of shots multiple times to ensure we have enough and we are prepared just in case one of the scenes don’t look as planned. Using the notes from last project, we were able to use the camera and tripod correctly as well as get the precise shots we were counting on for the final product. We chose the song to be unique from others and to interest our audience into watching.

Regarding the filming in more detail, the first shot that we began to create was in Ryan’s house in her entertainment center area. Here we showed our boredom and need to have fun during sitting on the coach while we zoomed on each of our individual expressions. Then we present us in a moving vehicle on our way towards the shopping mall. Following this will be a point of view shot of one of us entering the mall to purchase a series of outfits. As I mentioned earlier, some scenes will be shown twice. Just like when we film us in the car again but instead on our way back to the house. Once we are back to the home we will then start to get ready with makeup and other accessories. We must do this in order to go out for the night and match the party setting we chose. We have taken many shots with bright lights and dancing to show our night out. The music video will end after all of us party and are exhausted from the partying.

In addition to these main scenes, we also created others to demonstrate the variety of shots we were able to create. We decided to use some of our fellow students to give us a hand with our project since we needed more than the three people working on the assignment for filming. No matter our circumstances we have a time limit and due date for this project and it was very important that we used time wisely. Not only do we have to film, but we have to edit as well when we complete the filming process. Since we are done filming for our project, the only next step is to edit the music video to perfection. Since we are making a music video, without editing the whole purpose would be defeated. Without music the scenes would lack substance and would make little sense to the viewer experiencing them. Not only will we use editing in this aspect, we will also use it to fix any errors and to touch up what we need to. We still have to add all of our scenes into one on a software of our choice. I believe that iMovie would be the best option since that is what I chose last time and the other software known as Pinnacle Studios was working at a slower pace.

Film Blog

For our music video, we now have a planned idea from our storyboard as well as the additional planning my group did. We have not gotten around to filming yet, however we plan to follow the schedule that we made beforehand to ensure we have enough time to edit afterwards. My group has discussed our song of “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas and how we can create a final product to our best ability. We want our scenes to match the mood of the song and we want to entertain our audience. Our current project has a much larger time limit, so we plan to spend more time filming rather than for an hour and thirty minutes. I have successfully completed the first major step of the process now which is the planning of the product. We made sure to use our time wisely during planning since this is a key component for our music video and can be a major help when we begin to film/edit our project. Our music video will include many different settings and props along with other accessories. Mis En Scene is important to make present in our film and we will attempt to make a detailed visually appealing music video for viewers. The storyboard that we made requires us to film our scenes off of campus at different locations, such as the shopping mall.

Due to our music video requiring us to film outside of school, we have not gotten a chance to begin the filming process. We chose a variety of locations for our project like a house, shopping mall, and party setting just to name a few. This made it difficult to film during school hours therefore longing the filming process more. However, I have no doubt that we will finish in time to edit our music video thoroughly. In our project, we plan on filming some locations multiple times at different moments in the film. This allows us to capture some of our shots quicker since it will be the same setting. We are still planning some to allow us to follow a precise plan that we can stick to later on. I have already started to gather some props that look useful for our music video. This is helpful to ensure when the time comes to film we will be ready to begin. We will start to film over the course of this week and some of the following week if needed.

Regarding our plan for filming, we have thought of many ways we can film our scenes. To start off, we will shoot an establishing shot of us at a house. This will then transition into a close up of our faces demonstrating our boredom. Our next scene will be located in the car as a medium close up showing us on our way to the shopping mall. We will also include a point of view shot walking into the store to show a variety of camera angles and to interest the audience. Once we are done buying our outfits and accessories we will then present a flash pan to show a glimpse of what we purchased and our bags. A long shot will be shown of us entering the house again after we finish leaving the last location. A majority of our scenes are in the car from us leaving and entering places. Many other scenes will be included as well in the middle of our product. Although we have not been able to film currently, we now have a detailed plan for our music video which will be very useful for the rest of our process.

Storyboard

The storyboarding aspect of the filming process is crucial. The planning of the whole music video is on the storyboard, which you need to complete the project. Each box is about 6 seconds, so my group planned to fill out twelve boxes. The reason we chose to do twelve boxes is because the limit is one minute and fifteen seconds. Also we did less boxes then the actual music video is we believe we might film a lot of footage. We will aim to follow the storyboard as closely as possible. Yet, we might go off track slightly because there is a lot to include. We will be including a variety of shots to enhance the quality of our music video. For example, POV shots and over the shoulder. The POV shot is to add variety to the film. Also to show clearly what that character is doing at that minute. These shots are to engage the viewer into the music video. Also we will be including various editing into this. For example we will have jump cuts to reduce the amount of time things take. The jump cuts will also keep the viewer intrigued. Also we will have cross cutting to show what one actress is doing while it is also focused on another. This is meant to show that the actresses are meeting up with people. This is important to know so when it occurs later in the music video it is not random. Our storyboard includes a lot of planning. For example, we planned out all of our shots and editing. One scene will have an extreme close up of someone putting their makeup on to go out. Also an important part of the music video is the scene of us going shopping because it shows we are getting ready for something. Establishing shot is also very important to the music video. The reason it is important is because it introduces characters. To add to this, it shows their setting to the viewers. The storyboard is very useful to the director or directors. This makes it abundantly easier for them to do things. This includes where to put the camera depending on the shots we chose. Also how to move the camera, and how to edit these clips. It is very important to know exactly what you want to include in your music video so filming can go smoothly.

Planning

Our music video will take place in a variety of locations. In the beginning, we will start with scenes in a house getting ready to go somewhere. During these scenes we will change costumes and makeup to transition into a new location. The next location will have bright lights and other details representing a party environment for our final filming shot. We will include other locations such as the shopping mall in between those two scenes depending on which lyrics we use from the song “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas.  Regarding health and safety, we intend to follow certain guidelines in order to ensure that our music video does not risk the lives of anyone. Our music video is not violent, and there will be no shots that include these types of scenes. The song we chose is upbeat and the music video has a similar tone. Not only will we attempt to create an exciting music video, we will also try to do our best with health and safety. This is a very important component in our music video since our health and safety comes first.
We will include props in our music video to enhance our scenes and to give the audience a more detailed performance. To list a few, we will need makeup, red solo cups, party accessories, etc. Each shot will call for different materials for us to use and we have many to shoot. Since we are filming in a party setting we will need decorations or party-themed items. Without props, our music video would most likely lack excitement and the audience would be less interested. Another part of our music video that is highly important is our costumes. Initially, our costumes will be shown as regular clothes from just sitting around. Then our film will show us getting ready to go have fun and live life to the fullest in our new outfits that we dressed up in. Our costumes play a key role in our music video because it transitions the mood of the scenes and gives the audience an idea of what the purpose of us filming is. More specifically, our costumes will consist of dresses and other accessories that match our film setting and score.
Starting with November 18th, in class we came up with the song that we all decided on and begun to brainstorm for our upcoming music video. We made a lot of progress and planned out all of our ideas to combine them and move ahead with the process. On the 21st, we plan to start organizing our storyboard to have a better idea for our final product, as well as working on the planning blogs to make sure we are ready to start filming. After we finish these tasks, we will film all of our scenes until they are complete and we are satisfied with the work that we have produced. My group will have to film outside of school since all of the locations we chose do not involve the school. This means that the filming process will take place during the weekend or after school on a week day. From here we will begin to edit our footage and revise whatever needs fixing. We will work on this part until the deadline on the 9th, because we will have finished everything else and from my last filming experience the editing took the longest to finish. Each day we will work to further the progress of our project and to create a product to our best ability. Currently, we are still planning our music video but very soon we will move into the next steps for the project.

Codes and Conventions

I learned many new things on the last project assigned to create a commercial. During the process, I learned how to edit correctly to produce a visually appealing final product. Creating a commercial allowed me to experience how directing behind the scenes truly is and how important it is to the production. I learned about a series of camera angles, shots, and movements that helped me succeed in making a commercial to persuade others to attend Fort Lauderdale High. Last project we did not prioritize our time right since we had to switch editing software mid way through the process. Instead of Pinnacle Studios we ended up using iMovie which was more accessible to us. This was a major setback because we did not have enough time to edit our commercial like we originally wanted to.

We decided to chose “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas. We decided on this song since we all were familiar with it and we believe that it will be the best option to act out for a music video. The genre of our song is Pop and our song is very upbeat and exciting. This song is the best choice because the lyrics tell a story and this is perfect for us to make different scenes for. We also chose this song because not many people will most likely since it was released a while ago. My group wants to be unique and work on something that no one else will end up doing. Since the genre of our song is well known hopefully people will still follow along with the message in our music video.

1. Initially our costumes will consist of pajamas since our music video will start when we are chilling on the couch in the beginning. We will then change out of these clothes into dress up clothes to go out for a night.
2. The lighting for our music video will first be bright when we are in the house preparing to get ready. Towards the end the lights will be flashing and there will be a change in lighting.
3. We will be acting in the beginning like we are getting ready excited for a night out. Then we will be in a party setting that matches the song’s upbeat rhythm.
4. We will utilize makeup when we are getting ready during the first part of our music video. Our makeup will be shown during the last scenes as well when we have our full costumes on.
5. The props we will use include will correlate to the lyrics of the song we chose. We will include props such as red solo cups, makeup, and accessories.
6. First, our music video will take place in a house. Our next setting will have a resemblance to a club with bright lights etc.

Editing

In class we worked on touching up our commercials with the use of editing on a software. For the start of class we initially attempted to import all of our footage into Pinnacle Studios. The software was not having any issues in particular other than that it was working at a much slower pace than we would’ve preferred. My group decided on using IMovie for our film since the software is easier to access and we all are more familiar with how to use it. We put all of our clips together and seeing all of our footage put together gave us a vision of what our final product will look like without all of the added on features. We will include transitions, a score, and text to enhance our commercial and to help persuade people to join our school Fort Lauderdale High. We trimmed our clips to cut them to the right amount and we tried to make our commercial exactly 30 seconds. Our music for our film must be upbeat and persuasive to get our message across to the audience. Not only do we need to measure and make sure that the film is not under 30 seconds, we also must make sure that it is not longer than the time requirement. We also had to determine which clips to include since some of our footage did not turn out how we expected.
IMovie is the best choice for our commercial because we are able to fix our film in the easiest way possible but most effective. I have experience using IMovie when working on other commercials for different projects. Practice makes perfect and I’ve had my fair share of practice for film making using the software. During the filming process we took multiple takes of each scene to ensure that we would have options just in case something would come up and ruin our idea of the commercial. I utilized our storyboard to place our footage clips in the correct spots and then I made sure that the film flowed well and wasn’t choppy or hard to watch. Pinnacle studios is also very useful and simple because by simply dragging the clips, music, and titles you could put together a whole commercial that is put together. However, Pinnacle Studios was having trouble with speed and we figured that we would be better off using the app that we all can access on our cellphones, IMovie. Both softwares have about the same features and they both have the same purpose. Personally, I believe that IMovie was the best option because Pinnacle Studios would not even start up for my group. I chose to apply music throughout the commercial to maintain the mood for the whole film.
Our final product was well put together and had many elements towards the end that we decided to include. The score we included really helped with creating an image for our commercial. After putting all of our clips into one we could see how all of our footage looked when brought together. Text/titles were additionally added as well for the audience to have a better understanding of what we were trying to communicate. The editing process has many components that everyone must include and we made sure that we were not missing anything that was a necessity for our final product of our commercial. When double-checking the footage we took we noticed that we got at least one good shot for each scene that we wanted to show. This was a major relief because we did not have the option to film again if any of our footage did not work. Another reason why the editing process was smooth was we reached the requirement for time for our final product. Although we came across a bump in the road with Pinnacle Studios, we were still able to create a better copy of our commercial in IMovie before our time limit was up. My group is proud of how our commercial turned out and we look forward to showing the final product that we worked to produce.

Editing

During the editing process, we tried to make many improvements to our commercial that we could only make digitally. Adding sound to a shot can drastically change the mood of the scene for the better depending on what music you use. For our scene specifically, we wanted to use school appropriate music that still gets our point across to the audience. From the footage that we dumped onto the computer, we went through our choices and decided which ones go best with each other and which ones needed to be deleted. All of our videos were in the folder DCIM. Pinnacle studios was giving us problems on the computer we used and this made editing difficult. Usually the application is easy to access and should be located on the desktop of the device. Since we were unable to make any actual changes to our commercial we just made visual notes and ideas for the future when we revise our project. We transferred our footage, and then we used our google drive to store our videos to improvise after the pinnacle studios was slow and not working. Today we spent plenty of time looking for other computer applications to use that have the tools we need for the film.
While our videos were importing into the file we thought about different techniques to incorporate in our film because the computer was running really slow and we wanted to use our time wisely. Adding text can also be useful when editing if you want the audience to have a deeper understanding of the scene. Pinnacle studios not working was very frustrating, because in a way it makes us behind on our schedule and we have to improvise to fix our commercial. Our phones were very useful during class today because we used them to use the application iMovie while the computers were taken. This helped us edit some since Pinnacle studios and the app are similar to each other. If Pinnacle Studios worked correctly we could’ve finished the editing process of our film already most likely, but due to technical difficulties this was not accomplished. We still had a productive day filming our final shots to fill the rest of our commercial and then retrieving all of them  to see which scenes need to be edited. My group mates an I made an outline of what we are planning to do to ensure that when we actually start to finish up with editing we will have no delay and we will know what to do. Editing is important, because many commercial would be plain without it and the process adds extra to each scene that you film. Pinnacle studios wasn’t working for many other groups as well and we observed how they were editing for some ideas.
Even though today didn’t go as planned, we still utilized our time to look over our commercial and piecing it together. We were not able to add sounds or any text to our film due to Pinnacle Studios not loading which was frustrating. However, class was useful to double check that the shots we filmed were what we were trying to capture. As well as thinking of ideas to use and what to insert into our commercial. For a few of the scenes we filmed we took multiple takes because we wanted to make sure that we correctly shot what we wanted to show the audience. The computers not working did not stop us from going further in completing our project and we stayed on task throughout the day. For the start of class we took up a few minutes filming so we didn’t have as long for the editing process. After finding out the application did not work we quickly worked to catch up on what we are supposed to be doing for the period. Next class we will continue to edit our commercial and add finishing touches so that the final product has no flaws. This completes the process for today and I look forward to finishing our film on google docs or Pinnacle Studios.

Filming

Today in class we spent the day filming our commercials based on the storyboard we created. We used a series of shots, for example an establishing shot and close up shot. The purpose of our commercial is to persuade upcoming freshman to join our school campus. We made sure to capture the schools environment and the people within it. Our costumes consisted of school t-shirts and other accessories to reinforce school spirit. Each shot had multiple takes so that we can chose the best one in the end and to see what mistakes need to be fixed in our film. The storyboard helped a lot for the making of our commercial because it gave us a plan as to what to do first or what to do in general. We were not allowed to use any indoor buildings for our scenes so all of our shots are located outside on our campus. Using the notes we took on the equipment we were able to figure out how to work all of it correctly.
Personally, I did many different things to benefit our commercial. I helped behind the camera to get shots of many different places in our school using the angles that we decided to use precisely. I also was in front of the camera for some scenes and acted to my best ability depending on what the scene was about. I persuaded others from different groups to join our commercial since they attend Fort Lauderdale High and we needed a large amount of people for a specific part at the end. We also had to make sure that the lighting was good in each take so that the audience can see clearly to ensure they understand what’s happening and why. Towards the end of class, we used the computers and techniques we learned recently to dump our footage from the SD card onto the computer of our choice. We utilized the SD card reader to do this process and recovered our footage successfully. This was an interesting experience since it was my first time ever filming something with actual camera equipment and I believe our final product will do well. We will continue filming our last scenes next class so that we can edit our project and do our best to revise/add whatever is needed.
We filmed a total of 7 scenes for our commercial and many takes for each one. We have many options to chose from for our final product. For the first scene, we are inserting an establishing shot of our school from our website and then cropping it to show how our campus looks. Our next scene was a close up shot of one person and we applied blue face paint to show our school spirit and school colors. Next, we did a pan shot of many of the students who are here at Fort Lauderdale High in front of our media center. Another shot that we filmed was of the outside of our cafeteria and we showed students making conversation while enjoying their inexpensive school lunch. We filmed a number of shots showing the environment of our school for example a tracking shot of one of our school murals. Our last shot was a few of our students coming together to form the shape of a flying L our schools mascot. The purpose of all of these scenes is to suggest the benefits of our school and persuade people to come to Fort Lauderdale High.

Storyboarding

Today in AICE Media Studies, we storyboarded for our current commercial project. In our storyboard we have our project plans, our different scenes, angles, shots, camera movements and edits. We felt that it was important to make a storyboard so that we could write down all of our thoughts and ideas for this project and I have a flexible plan when filming and editing. This way we stay organized and limit the amount of mistakes we make during this project.  Angles that we used include high angles and low angles. For movements we used tracking and pan. We used many shots for our scenes including an establishing shot, stock shot, close up, and a long shot. We haven’t officially decided on transitions but we have thought of some, like a closing circle (iris out) and jump cut.

Editing Lesson Blog

Today I learned a number of useful techniques as we start to ease into the filming process of our commercials. To start, every time when checking out a camera, we must take a paper from the front of the classroom. We will not receive a camera to film without it. All of the cameras are numbered and everyone should write where it says the item number so we know who is using which device. Another tip that I learned, is the camera takes a while to charge but it lasts a long time once fully charged. To turn the camera on all you have to do is flip the top open. If you are not using it and the battery is dead you must close the camera or else it will not work. To record press the red button. We talked about how to use our tripods as well and rules to follow. When we are carrying our tripods we must have them closed instead of open. Tripods are useful for when we use pan/tilt techniques in our scene.
For editing, we will use the application known as Pinnacle Studio. Begin by inserting the SD card in the reader as well as the USB plug. Only one person should log in from your group each time you have to work. Create a folder and move it to your desktop to access all of your footage. DCIM should be the name of your project. You should always go to the bottom to look for yours initially. If you can’t find you group’s click on private and the name should be (AVCHE). To see everything on your SD card go into stream. Drag into folder by highlighting everything that you want to include. Put the SD card back into the camera/bag when you are done using it. This is known as “dump” and you do this to put your camera footage on a computer.
We also learned how to import and export our information. You must go to Pinnacle Studio for this as well. Click on import, then my computer, and add to desktop. Find your folder on the desktop of your computer. Always import all of your footage while filming. Click start import on the bottom next and then click edit. Raw footage should be seen on the top left of the screen and you should make sure to build on AV Track 2. The title is held on the first line and on the bottom is the music/sound of your project. Drag raw footage and wait for the completion bar to be finished loading.  To cut something, move red line in front of what you want to cut with the razor blade or delete button. To transition, right click Fex Editor and then click Transition In. To export, go to your commercial folder and wait for export and give it a name. Export at the end of your film not every single time you are working.

Planning Blog for FLHS Commercial

Today my group partners and I planned an outline out for the final product of our commercial for the school. The commercial will start with a stalk shot giving an overview of Fort Lauderdale High for the viewers to see how our school looks. Our commercial will include props, costumes, and different locations. We planned our film today in order to decide what to use for each of these categories. Planning is important because it allows you to focus on everything you want to mention/include in your project efficiently so that when the time comes we won’t forget anything in the actual product. We also discussed our schedule and back-up plan for what we are working on. This is important to ensure that we don’t make any mistakes and makes our filming process a little more organized. If we did not make a backup plan, if something were to occur that interferes with our idea and we didn’t think of something ahead of time that would be hard to come back from since we would need a new plan.

  • Props: School IDs, Backpacks, Food (Emphasizes that we are on school campus)
  • Costumes: FLHS merchandise, Blue/Black/White clothes, Blue accessories, Blue and White face paint (School spirit)
  • Schedule: 10/10 - Planning our commercial 10/14 - Storyboarding with our ideas 10/22 - Filming day 10/24 - Editing commercial to revise mistakes
  • Location List : Fort Lauderdale High School - Building 5 Stair case, Senior Patio, and Bus loop (Shows a variety of places located on our campus)
  • Back-up Plan : If it rains, instead of filming at the senior patio we will film at the picnic tables outside of the cafeteria. We will extend the scene at the stair case instead of the bus loop as well. If someone in the group is absent we will instead use another student that is in our class.

Research Conventions/Codes

Today in my Aice Media Studies class, we picked our groups and did research for our commercial project. My group members are Montana and Reese. I think that we will be a good team because we all share the trait of creativity. I think that having all this creativity in our group will help our assignment in the long run. However, I do think that it may cause some bumps along the road. When deciding which topic to do our commercial on we had narrowed it down to two topics, anti-vaping or a FLHS commercial. We decided on doing a commercial for the school, advertising to persuade 8th graders to attend Fort Lauderdale High School, for the next school year.
In a commercial there are many aspects relating to conventions and codes. They can be described as techniques, props, and characters that are used to enhance the scene. In our particular theme we focus on an academic and friendly environment at school. We will provide information on what makes our school unique and take footage of our campus and the clubs/activities within it. We also might show students in the commercial to persuade others about our atmosphere and the benefits of coming to our school.
We chose the topic of FLHS for a few reasons, such as, the video can be used to show upcoming 9th graders a little about our school. Another reason is, since we currently attend the school why not make a commercial to advertise why others should attend as well. Our designed filming area for this course is conveniently the same that our topic is regarding. This makes the filming process less of a struggle and allows our location to be accessible. Since filming the location is important for one of our topic’s convention, Fort Lauderdale High was the ideal topic for our final choice.

Introductory

Hi, my name is Amanda and I enjoy having fun and living life to the fullest. Listening to music and going to the beach are two of my favorite things to do in my free time. I love to learn new things and utilizing my creativity. "Go with the flow" is a saying that I live by and I love being outdoors. My favorite season is Summer because during that part of the year it’s always sunny.  I currently am in the classes Sociology and Media Studies along with others.
Listening to music is a great way to relieve stress and can change my mood completely on a rough day. It has a big impact on my life and I don't miss a day without listening to a playlist. The beach is my second home. I am an artistic person and drawing is a great way to use your creativity and to pass time. These are just to name a few of the things I do when I have downtime.
I have learned many new things/skills already from my classes this school year and look forward to learning much more in the future. Media Studies in particular has taught me to analyze films in a way that I never did before. I chose this class because I watch shows often and I am interested to see how they are put together as well as learning how to make one on my own. I can now identify a scene by its camera angles, movements, and shots along with the sound that it has. Sociology has showed me a lot of new information as well and has given me perspective on how our society works. I chose Sociology because the course sounded interesting and I wanted to learn more about the topic.
